Privacy Policy
You're trusting us with sensitive information at a stressful time. Here's exactly what we collect, how we use it, and the lines we won't cross — written in plain English.
Almighty Bail Bonds ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By calling us, applying for a bond, or submitting a form on this site, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don't hand it to outside companies for their marketing. We collect only what we need to post your bond and serve you well.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly — by phone, by text, in person, or through a form or application on this site. Depending on your situation, that may include:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and mailing or physical address
- Information about the person in custody and the case — such as their name, the jail or facility, the booking or case number, the charges, and the bond amount
- Co-signer (indemnitor) details needed to write a bond, including identification, employment, and references
- Payment information you provide to pay a premium (see "Payment processing" below)
- Any notes or messages you send us so we can help with your bond
When you visit this website, our host may also automatically log basic technical data such as your browser type, device, and general activity on the site. This helps keep the site running and secure.
How we use your information
We use the information you share for legitimate business purposes tied to helping you, including:
- Posting and servicing your bail bond and completing the required paperwork with the jail and the court
- Communicating with you about the bond, upcoming court dates, and your account
- Answering your questions and responding to your calls, texts, and messages
- Meeting our legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations as a Colorado bail bond agency
We do not sell your information
This is simple and it doesn't change: we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with outside entities for their own advertising or marketing. We share information only where it's necessary to do the job you hired us for — for example, with the surety company backing your bond, the jail or court handling the case, our payment processor, or professional advisors — or when the law requires it, such as a valid court order or a lawful request from a government agency.
Payment processing
When you make a payment, it's handled by a trusted third-party payment processor (LawPay). Your full card number is entered with the processor, not stored on our servers — we do not keep your complete card number on file. The processor handles that data under its own security standards and privacy terms. We may retain limited records of a transaction, such as a receipt or confirmation, for our business and legal recordkeeping.
Calls, texts, and SMS
Because bail is urgent, much of our contact happens by phone and text message. If you reach out or opt in, we may call or text you about your bond, court reminders, and related updates. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out of text messages at any time. How we handle text messaging — including consent and opt-out — is described in our SMS Terms.
Authorized staff may separately opt in to generic agency account notifications from inside the secure portal. We store the staff mobile number in encrypted form and retain the disclosure version, consent timestamp, and opt-out history for accountability. We do not sell, rent, or share any customer's or staff member's mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
How we protect and keep your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you entrust to us against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but we take the responsibility seriously.
We keep your information only as long as we need it to serve you, run our business, and meet our legal and regulatory recordkeeping obligations. When we no longer need it, we dispose of it responsibly.
Your choices
You can decline to provide certain information, though that may limit our ability to write or service a bond. You can also ask us about the information we hold, request corrections, or opt out of non-essential messages. To make a request, just contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Co-signers must be 18 or older.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. When we do, we'll post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date. Please check back so you're aware of any changes.
